![]() Assisting St. Francis Hospital Emergency Food Bank After learning that the St. Francis Hospital Emergency Food Bank was facing a severe pasta shortage, Hartford Federal partnered with the Connecticut Credit Union Charitable Foundation to donate nearly a ton of this food staple. Joan Dauber, the Food Bank’s Manager, stated that “this donation will provide much needed nourishment for disadvantaged individuals in the community and it will make a tremendous difference in fulfilling the food bank’s overall objective”. The St. Francis Hospital Emergency Food Bank is the only hospital-based food pantry in the country and assists more than 1,000 families each month.
