Member Service Representative - Farmington Valley Branch

Hartford Federal Credit Union seeks individual with excellent communication and people skills for our West Simsbury branch. Responsibilities include servicing existing accounts and addressing member account questions by phone and in person, opening new accounts, taking loan applications, and handling general member service inquiries. Ideal candidate will have the ability to identify member needs and recommend appropriate deposit and loan products. Knowledge of new account requirements, consumer loans, collection procedures, or related experience is preferred. Must be a reliable self-starter with strong customer service skills and sales ability, excellent word processing, EXCEL and writing skills. Competitive salary and benefits.

Loan Clerk - Asylum Avenue Office
We have an immediate opening for a Loan Clerk in our Hartford, CT Asylum Avenue office. The incumbent will assist with the overall clerical support of the Lending department.  Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Performing a range of activities related to vehicle title management in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintenance and updating of files, records and other documents
• Retention of documents and disposition of those which can be shredded in accordance with records retention guidelines
• Quality review of loan documents post-closing
• Filing of loan folders, incoming security instruments and other documents as necessary
• Document scanning
• Perform telephone follow up calls on missing documents
• Assist and cross train in other positions as required
• Assist with special projects as assigned

Job Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Professional demeanor in oral and written communication
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
• Cooperative, courteous, and pleasant
