Hartford Federal Credit Union Hosts Stafford Office Ribbon Cutting

Hartford Federal Credit Union celebrated the transformation of its Stafford Springs Office with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. State Senator, Dan Champagne and Stafford First Selectman, Mary Mitta, offered congratulatory remarks at the event. Senator Champagne also presented the Credit Union with a General Assembly Official Citation that he introduced along with Representative Kurt Vail. The Citation officially recognizes Hartford Federal Credit Union’s commitment to the Town of Stafford and State of Connecticut.

The renovations include an external transformation to a brick exterior, additional parking, improved traffic flow, and new signage. Internal renovations provide an entirely new floorplan, d├ęcor, and furnishings to modernize the office. Members are appreciating enhanced privacy and an interior design that captures the spirit of the Stafford Community.

The office was the former headquarters of the Workers’ Federal Credit Union, acquired by Hartford Federal Credit Union in 2018. “There is a long-standing credit union presence in the Stafford community,” offered President & CEO, Ed Danek, Jr., “With all the recent bank consolidation in the area, our investment as well as renewed commitment to the community has generated enormous positive feedback from people in the greater Stafford area.”

Once COVID no longer poses a risk to attendees at larger gatherings, there will be a Grand Re-opening Celebration with food, fun, raffles, and more!
