Beth Mazza Steps into CEO Role

Hartford Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Beth (Turina) Mazza has assumed the role of President & Chief Executive Officer, effective March 14, 2026, following the retirement of Ed Danek, who led the Credit Union for 36 years.

Mazza brings more than 20 years of experience in the credit union industry and a strong commitment to supporting both members and the communities HFCU serves. Since joining Hartford Federal Credit Union in 2020, she has been instrumental in strengthening operations, enhancing member services, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

“It’s a privilege to take on this role,” said Mazza. “With a strong foundation already in place, I’m excited to lead our next chapter—focused on growth, innovation, and delivering even greater value to our members and communities.”
