Hartford Federal Credit Union proudly donated $5,000 to Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, supporting their mission to place expertly trained German Shepherd guide dogs with people who are blind, providing all clients with increased independence to improve their lives and the world around them.
Our Executive Vice President Beth Mazza recently visited Fidelco, meeting CEO Karen Tripp, staff, and two amazing dogs, Yaz and Velma. Karen shared, “Hartford Federal Credit Union’s support means the world to everyone (and every puppy and dog) at Fidelco!"
This donation is part of HFCU’s ongoing commitment to giving back and supporting organizations that make a real difference in the communities we serve.
Fidelco Guide Dogs is a recognized leader in the guide dog industry and still the only guide dog organization to exclusively breed the German Shepherd Dog. They are accredited by the International Guide Dog Federation and more than 1,600 guide dogs have been placed throughout North America.
