Hartford Federal Credit Union is proud to announce a $5,000 donation to Mental Health Connecticut (MHC) in support of its 2026 Let’s Face It campaign. HFCU President & CEO Ed Danek (left) recently visited MHC to personally present the check and learn more about the organization’s impactful work.
Luis B. PĂ©rez, President & CEO, Mental Health Connecticut expressed, “Thank you to Hartford Federal Credit Union for their generous $5,000 gift and to President & Chief Executive Officer Ed Danek, Jr. for his transformational leadership and dedication to community impact. This funding will advance Mental Health Connecticut’s (MHC) 2026 Let’s Face It campaign during Mental Health Awareness Month in May. Proceeds support MHC’s Art of Wellbeing program, which weaves together an introduction to the arts with mental health coping skills and resources. This support expands access to wellness through the power of the arts, while creating safe, welcoming spaces for self-exploration, connection, and learning.”
At Hartford Federal Credit Union, we believe strong communities are built when individuals have access to the resources they need to thrive. Supporting organizations like Mental Health Connecticut reflects our ongoing commitment to improving both the financial and overall well-being of the people we serve.
We are honored to partner with Mental Health Connecticut and look forward to seeing the continued impact of the Art of Wellbeing program.
