Hartford Federal Credit Union was honored with two Category’s Best and one Diamond Award, which recognizes outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry.

The award was presented by the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council, a national network comprised of over 1,200 credit union marketing and business development professionals. Awards are given in each of 35 categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond.

Hartford Federal Credit Union won two Category’s Best Awards in the Multifaceted and Ongoing Event categories for its entry A Thousand Champions Against Hunger. This entry was from the marketing initiatives from Hartford Federal’s campaign to raise funds for those suffering from food insecurity in the area. The campaign raised over $10,000 for local food banks. Their ability to leverage those funds through wholesale pricing increased the contribution to $50,000 and helped thousands of individuals. The Credit Union also won a Diamond Award for Financial Education for its Credit Education Program entry. The program has helped dozens of individuals educate themselves on understanding the importance of credit and how to repair damaged credit.
