We Stand Together
As your leadership, as well as from heartfelt personal perspectives, we feel it is essential to acknowledge the horrific events that have troubled decent people across the country and even the world. We’re horrified by the unspeakable tragedy of George Floyd’s senseless death in Minneapolis and also troubled by events that have followed. We believe with all our hearts that no individual regardless of race, religion, or who they are should be subjected to unjust, and in this case unspeakable, treatment. When events such as these occur, we all feel a sense of sadness and dismay.
At Hartford Federal we reject racism, inequality, and cruelty. We believe that diverse voices and insights drive creativity, equity, and inclusiveness here, in our communities, and certainly across the country. We pledge to do our part in guarding against injustice in any form, as well as to speak out against it when it occurs. In doing so we stand with those protesting peacefully against racism and other injustices.
